It would seem that the presiding Presidents all around the world (aka kings for life) have dropped the ball big time recently. They are supposed to keep the peasants well enough off that they don't rise up! Especially in Egypt where over the years, the US has sent Billions upon Billions of dollars to buy that governments loyalty. And now, like a wild fire, that particular flavor of unrest is spreading through the entire Arab world. Leaders are threatening to step down in one country after another. It would seem that far too much of those billions may have lined the wrong pockets? That would certainly go a long way explaining the anti American Sentiment so prevalent beyond our borders. When you only play footsie with the powers to be and don’t do anything for the “man on the street”, expect to be considered part of the problem. Expect to be hated. Expect to be thrown out, right along with that despised and deposed King!
With this in mind, we all see what is going on in the Arab world. We know, shall we say, how “fundamental” they can become. And we see that unrest spreading. And it is truly scary! Lesson Learned?Pretty simple really, average guy didn't get a fair shake while the big boys grabbed all the cash.... Result? Be prepared for civil war! We talk about the Arab world first because they already represent a very scary group of people and the point is made easily with them. In reality it is the same across the globe today. Greece, Iceland, etc. etc... Oh, and very much so here in the US too. Ah yes, here in the US of A.... land of Big Banks too big to fail!? At least most of them after Government Intervention? Funny how in hindsight, those that did fail look more and more like sacrificial lambs? And those surviving banks that have “paid back” the Government Loans and are now profitable? Well, don't forget all of the TOXIC stuff the government took over. Those losses haven't disappeared. They haven’t been written off... they have been packed up just like radioactive waste, sealed and hidden away from prying eyes, but now they are the responsibility of the US Government, no longer the banks. Same goes for GM.... It is really the ONLY reason these big boys are still in business! So What Does All of This Mean?The banks and the rest of the Wall Streeter's are making millions upon millions just in bonuses. According to them the economy is on the up swing! Then why are we preparing for massive cuts in our schools.... police and fire.... the entire infrastructure? These certainly are not signs of a country on the mend. They are frighteningly similar to those in places like Egypt.... and what does this mean? As stated above: the average guy (have not) didn't get a fair shake while the big boys (haves) grabbed all the cash....
