arch has got to be just about the worst month for news I can remember. Even when “They” admitted we were in a recession it was already a forgone conclusion that had already crept up on us. Now, America is now engaged in a THIRD WAR... I don't recall anytime in history that America waged war in three different engagements at the same time not to mention costing billions upon billions of dollars that we don't have. The terribly sad events that have befallen Japan are showing us just how our misguided belief we can control nuclear power is coming home, all the way home. In our air and food.... perhaps not deadly at this point but things are not getting better over there and we can plainly see we are at risk!. Politicians in an seemingly very misguided belief seem to thing that by refusing Federal help and firing massive numbers of state employees, they will fix the economy?

Oh and just for good measure they want to chop unemployment benefits too... that will get the lazy bums out and working again!!

   And on top of everything else, I have it on good authority that CBS and Katie Couric may very well be parting ways. Is nothing sacred?

   It seemed that the clouds had truly gathered over the last few weeks but then, a friend sent something to me and ever since, I look this over at least a time or two a day, and the clouds seem to part and at least a little sunshine breaks through. So all of you who feel likewise, take a few moments out and let this soak in. Like a cleansing spring shower washing away all the ugliness... at least for a little while.
